Health & Safety Policy

UPDATED: 01/01/2023

During your tattoo, you should be able to relax and enjoy the experience without having to worry about getting sick. Rest assured that all of these measures are in place to ensure the highest possible health and safety standards for both our clients and artists.

At your appointment you will be signing a legally binding release form that states you have fully disclosed all the requested information, and if you are found to have falsified or withheld any of this information you may be stripped of your deposit and/or permanently banned from getting future tattoos.

STUDIO

  • Entry to studio by appointment only. All inquiries about booking, art, and pricing should be made by phone, text, or email. Portfolio samples will be made available digitally upon request.

  • Mask required for entry. Free KN95 Masks are available at the studio. Anyone entering the tattoo area will be required to upgrade their mask to a KN95, unless already wearing a mask of equal filtration.

  • One guest allowed per session. Please keep in mind they are subject to the same health and safety policy as the client. Including wearing a mask while in studio, and being free from exposure to illness in the 2-weeks leading up to the appointment. Extra guests are permitted at the studio (up to a max party size of five people) at an additional cost of $10 per person.

BOOKING

  • No same day appointments or walk-ins. All appointments are booked a minimum of 2 weeks out in order for clients to self-screen their health.

  • There is a $10 health and sterilization fee per appointment. This helps us cover the cost of sterilizing the studio between appointments and providing PPE to our artists and clients.

CLIENT HEALTH

  • If you become sick with symptoms of ANY illness within 2-weeks of your appointment date you are required to self-report this fact and reschedule your appointment.

  • If you fall ill on the day of your appointment and are not able to reschedule with at least 24-hour advance notice, you will not forfeit your deposit. We would rather have you err on the side of caution without having to worry about losing your deposit. You are still required to call, text, or email before your appointment, in order to retain your deposit.

  • If you think you may have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or fallen ill with any flu-like symptoms (fever, headache, runny nose, cough, sinus infection, etc..) any time in the 2-weeks before your appointment, you are required to self-report this fact and reschedule your appointment.

APPOINTMENT DAY

  • If you show up with symptoms of any illness, your appointment will be canceled and you will forfeit your deposit. Be honest and let us know early. We really don't want to do this!

  • We will take your temperature upon arrival to the shop, and any temperature over 100.4F will disqualify you from being tattooed that day. If you were unaware of your fever you will not be stripped of your deposit and will be able to reschedule. However, if you are found to have known of your fever and failed to disclose this information, you will forfeit your deposit and may possibly be banned from the studio.

  • Upon arrival you will be required to wash your hands and we will sanitize your phone, photo ID, and any items you would like to have with you in the tattoo area.

  • Along with our standard release form, you will be required to fill out and sign a Health assessment. Failure to accurately fill out these forms will be grounds to forfeit your deposit and be banned from future tattoos.

  • Please limit the personal items you bring with you to the shop.

  • If you are the type of person who gets chilly easily, make sure to bring appropriate attire in order to stay warm. We use fans in order to circulate air away from our clients.

  • Clients are asked to wash their hands each time they exit and re-enter the studio. For instance, when using the bathrooms, or taking smoke breaks.

If you are uncomfortable with any of these policies, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience, and encourage you to reach out with any questions or comments you might have. We know that these policies aren't everyone's cup of tea, however, we are not willing to compromise on your health or the health of your fellow clients. We will gladly follow the rules in your house, so please do the same in ours.

To all our past, present, and future clients, thanks for your trust, creativity, and fortitude. You give us so much to be grateful for, and sincerely hope we can do the same for you.
